Rangers Win Pitching Duel 1-0 Versus Rays
Glass Half Empty / Afternoon Cloud: Obviously the offense didn't have what we have come to expect from the Rangers in August, that being a great offensive output tonight.
Glass Half Full / Silver Lining: Yuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!! 7 IP, scattered 6 hits, only 2 BB's and 10 K's. Not too shabby. And Kins had a solo shot to account for the only run of the ballgame.
Thoughts / Observations / Sidenotes: OK, the Rangers have the best record in the AL but, the pesky A's are hanging tough and are still only 5.5 GB. The Rangers have 4 more games at home against the A's the last full week of the season and 3 more after that against them at Oakland, by the way. So, those might be mighty important ballgames if this holds up.

Yes - we won again on 08/31-2012 - excellent news. However, the A's are presently beating the Red Sox 18-2! 18-2! This is their 7th win in a row - likely 15 of last 17. At this point, I would rather the A's lose than ANY other team, in ANY Other Sport. They are irritating.
