14-10 Loss, Was That the Cowboys Losing to the Eagles??? *
Glass Half Empty / Afternoon Cloud: * Is that that 2,947th time you've heard someone say something like that?
Pitching. Was. Terrible. Scheppers and Ogando, 2 pitchers upon which this club is going to rely in some role the entire season, were awful.
Glass Half Full / Silver Lining: Offense was not the problem. At all. And as a good friend mentioned, today is a testament to the great decision making of John Daniels in NOT overpaying for Cliff Lee a while back.
Thoughts / Observations / Sidenotes: Dear baseball gods, please, please, please don't let the pitching be as bad as it was today for the rest of the season. While we're at it, please don't let it be anywhere near as bad as it was today. And please let the offense be as good.

So far Kinsler is getting his wish.

Good point CH. The curse of Kolan ( Kins + Nolan) strikes for the first time this season.

What has happened to our pitching? Yes - I can tell it is going to be quite bad this year - and yes, this early. I am referring to the Starters only - I believe that the relief staff will be OK. Nothing is irritating as walking people - so stop doing it.
Not sure if this is the best forum, but the Spurs have won 18 in a row - 18! They demolished the Pacers tonight - a franchise record for the Spurs. Can any of these people pitch (we can sign them after they win the Title)?
Martin Perez can make everything ok by having a good outing tomorrow. Man, I really hope he pitches well tomorrow.
The other silver lining - was it me, or did the majority of the 10 runs come from the bottom of the lineup. BTW - add Kins to the list of Exes.
Done, added Kins and Murph to the list of ex-Rangers. Should I add Joe Nathan too? He wasn't a Ranger that long, so I'm thinking no.
No on Nathan, but goodness we forgot about Nellie Cruz...and I think his HR made the difference today in Ball-D-More.
Cannot believe I forgot to add Nellie to the list of ex-Rangers. Done. And how many freakin' ex-Rangers are on the O's? Cruz, Chris Davis, Tommy Hunter. Should we start calling them the East Coast Rangers?
Scott Feldman!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the 1993 Detroit Tigers! 5.5 Runs per game scored, 5 Runs per game allowed.
