Rangers lose 2-1 to Spankees' ground crew's ineptitude and rain

Apparently the Spankees' ground crew had never tried to cover the field with a tarp before trying tonight. And it took them close to half an hour to finally cover the field in a torrential downpour in the Bronx.

Again, the Rangers find another unique, seemingly impossible way to lose a ballgame, with Yu on the mound no less.

And the Rangers traded away Soria tonight.

This yet another swift kick to the Rangers' baseball jimmy. And I'm sure there are more kicks to the Rangers' baseball jimmy to come.

More curse of the Kolan?

That was last night - there has ALREADY been yet another loss. In today's attention to the all "powerful" Yankees (so good in fact that they have someone 100 years old playing short) - we managed to get 4 hits and 2 walks in one inning, and came out of it with one run. Not even sure how that is possible. As for trading Soria - that sucks too - but perhaps it can work out as Soria, in all fairness, was not exactly getting many save situations. We will see on this one - I suppose.

And some not surprising news. Let's not being him back this year. Absolutely no point. http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/texas-rangers/headlines/20140727-another-bump-in-the-road-for-derek-holland-s-rehab-assignment-return-to-arlington.ece
