That sucked total asss!!!
Glass Half Empty / Afternoon Cloud:
I watched the last 15 minutes to see the Rangers lose to the pathetic A's.
Glass Half Full / Silver Lining:
Sorry, I got nothing here. Nelson Cruz even managed to get hurt on the last play.
Thoughts / Observations / Sidenotes:
Washington manages to use 6 pitchers for a shut-out, but at the end, with the pitcher struggling, does not visit the mound, does not switch pitchers, nothing. I know the hits were not that hard, but why use 6 pitchers right up until the end, and then not change when the game is at its more important point?

OK, you gotta have this in the Glass Half Full portion...NEFTALI FELIZ.
In his MLB Debut:
1) Four consecutive K's
2) 5 out of 30 pitches were 100 MPH
3) Neftali in Hebrew means STRUGGLING!
If that's struggling, we gonna be hosting baseball in Texas in October!
Yeah, it was just frustrating that Nippert, Nippert(!), had a one hitter going.
But, yes, Feliz was awesome.
I just hope that blowing that save wasn't the Rangers "catastrophic moment" for the season. Maybe it's time for Frankie to move back to closer?
Here's the other thing, Ranger is playing the first game of a 10? game road trip and start it with a heartbreaking loss.
And the Halos were off so if Ranger wins they're only 3.5 games back, instead they go into tonight 4.5 games back. Will they get closer in the standings? I of course will watch the standings going forward to see if they in fact make it back withing 3.5 or if that was it.
But, as JJ has said before, regardless of what happens going forward this already is a successful season.
